XBMC "histories" file on exernal drive.

Hi,

Friend of mine was watching game of thrones and stopped it half way through.
Rasbmc created a "histories" file on his hard drive.
Can't delete it through ubuntu, rasbmc or windows.

Any idea how i can get rid of this file? His tv no longer wants to open his hard drive and he suspects it has something to do with this file.

Still no idea what it was but I ended up getting rid of it by cutting and pasting to my desktop then deleting it from there.

It seemed to be some kind of empty folder but when you double click on it it started a game of thrones episode about 40% in.
