Xbox 360 bad behaviour

Greetings all

I have an XB360 that when you open the CD tray, insert a disc, close it, it will open up and you have to close it (then it opens) a few times for it to read.

Any ideas?

It's a 16 year old console, might be time to retire it? Or you can go get the drive fixed, or you can attempt to fix it yourself by checking youtube.

Mine is a door stopper.

But seriously, the thing is so cheap that it's not even worth the cost of repair. If I had to guess I'd probably say the drive needs to be replaced.

Just get a second hand newer console, even if it's an Xbox One...
