Xbox 360 confirmed at $299.

You can all wait for for the ps3 but the xbox 360 is going to deliver the same gfx its been stated both are stronger at different things and both are very capable of high end gfx the difference between the ps3 and xbox 360, is the Xbox 360 will be next gen today while the ps3 will only be next gen in 2 years time when its finally released.
So to the ps3 fan boyz sit tight while I enjoy the next gen gaming today :)
 
I'm afraid, in terms of hardware capability, the PS3 will be the one doing the kicking. It's got twice the power. Xbox has Live though, much use to us isn't it?

No it doesn't have twice the power, that's marketing bullsh!t based purely on theoretical numbers. I'm not a console gamer so have no bias either way, I'm just saying educate yourself before believing the PR spewed by any company.

Exactly, Sony have pushed their marketing talk so far, and I take you a bet Xbox will have the same quality gfx as ps3 minus a few fps not alot, and the price ppl will pay for the ps3 is ganna be huge! either way Xbox 360 is out soon PS3 is still ages away.
 
and the lineup for the Xbox 360 games is looking sweeter by the day... CoD 2, Gear Wars, NFS sequels, Quake 4, PGR 3, DoA 4 amongst a few i can remember... sweet!
