Xbox 360 controller on PC

Iv downloaded the driver. Still cant get it to work. I am using the play and charge kit to plug into my USB port on my pc.

Anybody get this right?

U need the Xbox wireless reciever for the controller to sync up with the pc to work ! the only thing the play and charge kit does is charge the battery it does not add any wired functionality to the control to make it act like a normal wired one.

Try Incredible connection I bought mine there bout a year and a half ago and paid R249
 
Thx for the quick reply. Spending more money - just to make it work. Ill use my old controller in the mean time.

You can also buy a standard 360 wired controller for PC. I have. Works well.

Dohc-WP is right about the charging kit, though.
