I just called my local CNA and they have one XBOX 360 console left, bundled with Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones. Is this the right one to go for ie. Is it the latest, greatest hardware with HDMI etc.? What should I look out for to ensure that I don't buy an old lemon? I want to buy this on my Edgars account, 6 months interest free.

Well, that one should be fine. AFAIK its the Christmas bundle Microsoft had going over December.
EDIT: It should be the latest. Any of the consoles manufactured after around mid 2007 should be a-ok.

Is it a arcade, pro or elite model?
As far as i now, the new models of Xbox have an HDMI output and the new falcon MB, i think the newer MB called jasper is hard to come by.
But please dont take everything i have just said as fact, i could be wrong, I'm sure the local Xbox forumites will give a more accurate answer.

It's a good console.
If you like the titles published by Microsoft - then it's a very good console.

Great, thanks everyone. You are correct, it is the Xmas bundle Pro 60GB for R2699.95
Now i also need the VGA cable - R400 from BT Games is the best I can find so far if i want it today!(No HDTV at home yet!)
got a second hand one for R250 if you pick up. i am in roodepoort.
