Uh, just a correction there. The PS3 doesn't have more "exclusives for the holiday season" The PS3 has one or two more unreleased exclusives, the 360's are available now and already outnumber the PS3's exclusives significantly.

if you want to talk about the quality of the exclusives . . . well lets not go there.

And on 2008, just because the PS3 finally gets it's game on doesn't mean the 360 is sitting back and watching, the 360 line-up for next year is awesome. I'm really glad Halo is out the way so the other franchises can get their due. Project offset alone looks absolutely amazing, Huxley, Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2, Conviction, Alan Wake - my wallet bleeds as much into '08 as it does now.

What I like about the 360 line up is that the franchises are still relatively fresh. We're not talking 4's or 5's or even 13's.

But anyway, that's not to slight the PS3, it finally gets game next year, good luck to Sony, sorry about the controllers. ;)

Another thing you should consider is that while 2007 has been ruled by the xbox 2008 looks to be the year of the ps3 with all the major flagship titles hitting the console, hell already the PS3 has an arguably better christmas line up with the majority of the exclusives.

With everyday that passes the PS3 is building strength and becoming the console to own!

Other than the fact that, that is actually old news, you might want to read the retort I have already posted on that thread. And please dont believe everything you read!

Uh, just a correction here to Doobiwan, the PS3 does have more christmas exclusives, If a title is already out it obviously cant fall into the christmas season can it?
My whole point is yes, so far the PS3 has had a *** year, but for what is left for the year (ie, not taking in titles which are already released) the PS3 has the better line up.

As for the quality of the exclusives there is no point in going there because they havent even been reviewed yet, so Im not sure how you would know whats going on.

Its time to admit that the PS3 is coming into the zone, the more you whine that it still sucks the sillier you sound.

Oh and on the Controller diss, I love the ps3 controll, its way more comfortable than the bulky Xcontroller, sure rumble is missed sometimes, but the Motion sensing is cool and adds a unique element to some games. Stop being bitter now and just accept that while the Xbox has ruled for a while the PS3 has just broken down the castle door!

Your "exclusive" logic is quite that. Exclusive to yourself. I really have to laugh, I don't think you realise how silly your logic is. The PS3 "living in hope" mentality has affected you to the point where you're more interested in "hoping for games" than you are in actually playing good games.

For existing console owners there's enough content on either platform not to warrant pissy fights like the ones you're trying to start. For a new buyer, release date is irrelevant, buyers will be looking at what's available when they buy. Whats the standing now, 80 versus 300? How many of those are "Wow" worthy?

Live on in hope . . . I guess that's also a form of living . . .

Nice one. In addition to trolling I see you've taken to jumping into threads to provide false information.

Besides that, I personally could care less what the PS3 has to offer so late in the game. The fact of the matter is that it still has a shaky future as far as we can see. I'm not about to blow 6 grand on something that can only claim to have more exclusives because the competition beat them to the punch by getting their's out first.

To doobiwan, I dont have to do anything, I currently only have two controls, however due to being able to play with up to seven players simultaneously on the PS3 I probably will pick up an extra control or two, hell maybe even three. Stop grasping at straws to mate, you are only fooling yourself.

On the games situation, honestly you have been bleeting the same thing as all the other fanboys have for the last six month. The PS3 currently has more than enough available games! Deal with it! I have enough time or cash to get everything I want on the ps3 yet alone all the available titles. So honestly just admit it and get over it. Sure the Xbox has a bigger library, but purely due to its 1yr lead (and yes I realise that it probably always will have a lead).

The ultimate truth is that the ps3 and xbox are levelling out now, both are on an even playing field, and so we do need to look to the future now.
And IMO the PS3 definately has the brightest one of all!

You're claim about the exclusive titles remaining for each console, which doobiwan was so kind to destroy. Do some research for once instead of your usual fanboy tactic of jumping into every 360/PS3 thread to start trouble

Hahaha! What do you base this on? What evidence exactly...the poor sales figures, lack of decent games , crazy price, poor performance on non-exclusive titles, etc? You've clearly lost it mate and I wouldn't be any more surprised if you now claimed to have invented fish fingers.

Well once again, please don't be disappointed in your poor PS3, but it can't support 7 controllers. It can support 7 devices - 4 controllers and up to 3 headsets or 'other'. Besides the fact that the BT implementation is so bad both Rock band and Guitar Hero are shipping dongles for their wireless guitars. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3163593

By contrast the 360 & Wii wireless units are completely integrated.

Levelling out? I don't think so, but as I've said about 3 times today, we're at least getting to the point where people can make a decision based on game preference not "hopes and wishes".
 
Well im not sure about the ps3 you own, but mine can support 7 controllers, they even show you exactly how to do it in the manual.

But seriously guys :The absolute final word in all of this is that you boys enjoy your console and I will enjoy mine, I currently have more than enough games to keep me busy and there are more than enough to keep me busy for the rest of the year. The old whine that the PS3 has no games is a tired and pathetic attempt to make you guys feel better, Im not quite sure why xfans feel they need to make themselves feel better though. You guys have a great console and great games. Sit back and enjoy them.
