I need to connect my XBox 360 to my laptop through my router (it's connected via cable and the laptop is via wifi) and I do not wish to disable my Windows Firewall. Does anyone know the ports which the Xbox 360 will use to connect to my laptop in order to get the media? No notification pops up when the firewall is on so I have to constantly keep it off if I want to watch or play media on the Xbox

Ah sorry man, I just plug an ethernet cable into both devices and stream using TVersity

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x86. My router is a Surecom 9410SX-g (don't try going on Surecom's website, the company no longer exists). I have however formatted my laptop today and loaded ubuntu side-by-side with Windows so I can have the best O/S as well as compatibility :D
