Would anyone be interested in having their xbox 360 firmware upgraded so they may play backup games?

I had to order a Via Sata card to flash my MS28 dvd-rom and thought i have it now, i might as well use it.

So anyone wishing to flash their drive in KZN, pm me

No it won't. Xbox live works perfectly. Infact my xbox 360 drive is running better than it ever has with the upgrade. Im glad ive done it as i backed up my Oblivion and thank goodness i did as it got scratched the otherday... No need to waste R499.

And what exactly is soooo special about xbox live anyway? For south africans it sucks...

For instance to download demos and large files off xbox, i had to first get the url it wanted(packet sniffer), download on my pc using a download manager to get good speeds then spoof the address so the xbox downloaded the file off my local http server.

Whilst if i downloaded it via my xbox, it was doing around 7kb/s compared to pc 430kb/s....

Guys I don't know where to ask this....

Maybe you guys can help.

My WWE smackdown vs Raw is anoying me....

There is some draggs on the screen.... Black spots ect. This has been from the start.

My question... Could it be the TV... it only works on 60Hz not on 50Hz (The game)

Now all the other games on 60Hz works fine.

Is it the disc or is it the TV...?
Maybe someone else has the same problem ?

I had the same problem with Oblivion.

I have a pro system with the hard drive, so i don't know if this applies to a core system. But sometimes the hard drive gets too fragmented and thus gets a bit draggy.

SO... when loading the game, put the disc in and hold down the "A" button until the game starts. This forces the game to recopy any files that it may need to play.

My oblivion was skipping video and jumping. Did this and works perfectly. Just make sure your xbox is also set to 60hz. Almost all standard TV's handle this

I'll try the "A" button thing

;)
