This is Africa guys. If you don't care about Live, which I don't, seeing as we don't have any broadband in this country, chip the thing and get pirated games. South Africa is doing us in on everything, so take a break wherever you can, DVDs, CDs, Games, they can all be pirated, so no need to bend over for them.

I didn't see any links there. he's not doing any good but it's just his opinion.he has a point though - if people didn't pay these ridiculous prices they would lower it - that's where these "Specials" come from - they not doing YOU a favour, it's because they bought a crapload of stock and the particular title might not be selling so well - so instead of it going old and taking forever to sell, going to a bargain bin and nobody want's it then either cause it's old, they mark the prices down and people go nuts, and voila - stock cleared.

Flashing the 360 isn't worth it. When your 360 gets the rrod you can't exchange it for a new one if you opened it.

i'm unsure what flashing/chipping costs, but lets say you save 400 - 500 on a game, and you buy 4 games a year, then you would have saved enough $$ to buy a new xbox if you do get the rrod, imo...
