Xbox 360 Question

Hi guys,

I've got a 42" Lcd tv (Sansui SV-4251) and it is full hd. I connected my xbox to the tv with an HDMI cable, now I should be able to play the games on
1080p but in the xbox menu the 1080p is grayed out and cannot be selected.

The highest resolution I can get is 720p. What could be the problem, is it maybe the cable, because I should be able to play on 1080p.

I could very well be wrong, but I'm sure I saw somewhere that the NXE update takes care of that problem? I dunno.

You connect your XBOX to the internet and it automatically updates...

and if it is, do what i did (as it can't connect my xbox to the net), is to download the updated to your pc, load it on a flashdrive, and then insert the flashdrive in the xbox...and taa-daa, its updated
