Xbox 360 RROD Marathon

Who here has the oldest Xbox 360? I want to know about non-RROD success stories :) So many people are bleak about RROD saying that they are on their 28th console, any of you guys had one for a long time with no issues what so ever?
 
My 360 lasted over a year and a half then eventually died on me a month and a half ago (so mine lived the longest probably here on the forum)! the date of manufacture was july 06 ! my new 360 was manufactured may 08 ! All xenon model 360's die eventually (its inevitable)

Got mine on the 16th December 2006. Not 1 issue with it (apart from me not plugging the cables in properly once or twice :rolleyes:). Time spent on it is a good 20hours a week
 
lol, its good to here there are some xbox's who stand the test of time! They must have Sony components :P

how come you hardly play with your xbox - there are so many games - pfft 20 hours a week - mine is on 12 hours a day and thats a bad day
 
Had mine since about November 2006, had about 8 freezes and 10 times when the screen goes all funny, but an off and on always fixed it

Hehe, i used to :(

My xbox moved from my room (away from my lcd and internet connection), to the lounge with 42" goodness :rolleyes:. My hours spent on it have decreased due to the lack of interwebz in the lounge, the parentals wanting to watch tv and because of WOW

Freezes are caused by the GPU.

Be careful, Red Red Of Death or E74 might visit you in the dark of the night ;)
 
Got mine (Pro system) Dec'06. No probs...so far.

It's installed in a closed cabinet, so I've also installed a couple of PC Case fans for ventilation.
 
i hope it does RROD, so i can get a quieter one
 
new ones are quiter and alot cooler then previous 360's, and after each revision the console gets more reliable;) unlike some other console brand that loses features after each revision :D !

They bragged We have hardware BC, then it was we have software BC, And now its we dont have any BC :D
