Oh MY. Be warned! RROD attack!

http://www.mygaming.co.za/news/XBox/3500-Xbox-360-update-may-killing-consoles.html

While you are there sign up! :D

In this case, a 14 page (and counting) forum thread on the official Xbox 360 forums is causing a bit of as stir, as dozens of Xbox 360 owners are reporting that immediately after installing the latest software update, their consoles are bricking

If I had an older Xbox console with the warranty about to expire, I would download the Update before it is withdrawn. :D

Ziiiing!

Nice try IAP. Another case of you not looking before you leap

Rather a case of you calling the kettle black. It was posted by tinman! :D

RROD is here to stay. Another 28million units to go. Suck on that 1.

So why did you repost it? Trolling again perhaps? Yes I think so.

Your childish remarks (like the one I bolded) are getting very old, very fast.

That isnt the case. Updates, especially OS updates sometimes end up doing more damage than good, the 360 team should implement a roll back feature (as Windows does - "Last Know Good Configuration")

I think he was refering to my suggestion that some could use this problem, if it really exists to RROD a console that is close to the waranty end period. That way it can be returned "legally" for an extended warantee of 90 days.

Anyway, I would not do it. If a console lasted for three years there is a good chance that it it would "maybe" survive. I doubt it tho given the info on forums I read. It is a ticking time bomb.
