My Xbox bumper seems to be ''stuck'', ''broken'', ''faulty''.

When i play Pro Evolution, the player RUNS at speed without me even touching the bumper button.

I took it to BT games, they wanted me to send it to Microsoft. Im convinced it might just be some dust or something. I take extreme care of all my consoles.

I cant get the controller open, i was told i need a special kind of screw driver.

Any help? :(

T8/T9 torx screw driver is what is needed to open the controller. It might have got sticky with wear and tear.

Cotton buds, isoprol alcohol or nail polish remover will help with removing grime and other build up.

If it still doesn't work, then you need to buy a new or 2nd hand controller.

Be careful as some of the parts inside are tiny. If it gets lost you're in a pickle :D

Where can i get this screw driver? Or do you know of any reputable place that can clean it for me?

Im in Cape Town.

Thx!

Most hardware stores will have it. Builders Warehouse comes to mind. Sure theres a branch down there!

I have no idea who can do it down in C-Town. I've done some low key controller mods so I know my way around the inside of the controller.

Get hold of Console Doctor (www.consoledoctor.co.za) and hear what he says. He's name is Mark and he's in Bothasig or there abouts.

Cheers
