I bought an xbox 360 controller that had the ms pc hardware logo on. Just make sure it is the one for pc. Then you'll be fine. Just a quick software install, plug in the wireless reciever and you're good to go![]()
Sounds cool. Anyone want to swop me? A Xbox 360 wireless for PC, and in return I'd give logitech momo steering wheel? Want to try the controller and rarely use my steering wheel.
So after this thread. I am a little bit confused, can I just go and buy an XBox controller and plug it into my pc and viola? I can play whatever I like with that?
I'll go buy a conroller and swap you![]()

The Xbox controller does not need to be for PC, I went to the shops a few weeks back and purchased a controller but they didn't have PC ones in stock so I took the Xbox one and windows automatically updated it and installed the software for it.

Wired one, yes.
Wireless one, no.
You need a wireless receiver for the PC which does not come with the wireless XBOX controller, have to purchase it separately.
No, G64, but with my qualification above.
The "PC" version just comes with a driver CD, but if you are running Win7 no need as it automatically updates drivers. The hardware is the same.
