Xbox controller recharge pack

I just bought a new controller with the lithium battery and charger. Can I charge the normal rechargeable batteries with this usb charger?

I'm not sure don't take the chance just recharge it using the proper recharge kit for it...that's what I do, let it run flat and then charge it using the standard kit safer

I really doubt it. The MS rechargeable battery pack has 4 connectors on it's side which I guess are used while playing and charging. The normal battery case where you put the batteries (normal and rechargables) don't have these connectors.
