The Elite will carry an estimated retail price of R4 599 and comes with a 120GB hard drive, enabling consumers to store huge quantities of content such as music, DVDs and photographs.

It also comes with a high-definition multimedia interface port (HDMI) - designed for the growing number of consumers with HD TVs and HDMI.

According to Microsoft, the features, look and feel of the Xbox 360 Elite make it the ultimate in entertainment devices and the "luxury" option for early adopters of sophisticated technology.

This is for the specially Halo themed version. Why are we twice the price (+-)? Surely a bigger disk can't make that big a diff?

The Price drop at this point in time applies to Europe only we await confirmation on whether this is going to filter through to SA

sucks, I am the eternal optimist though, I now expect a price cut at rAge

I also recommend holding out on buying one now until we see the Halo 3 bundle prices which have to appear....

I will have to wait till MS get their transfer cable to SA to copy all the current data on the 20GB. I will not re-download all the >500MB game content again. Sigh.
