xBox for sale

I am considering selling my XBox and was wondering what you guys think it is worth.

360 Premium
4 controllers
3 xbox 1 games (Ninja Gaiden, Forza Motorsprt 2 and Star Wars NOTOR)
3 xbox 360 games (PGR3, NFS Most Wanted and Tiger Woods 2006)

I also have a SMC wireless ethernet extender to to connect to my wireless network.

Thoughts?
 
That is not a good setup so I'll give you R1000 ;)

No? Oh well then I guess depending on how old it is you can look for about R4500 - R5000...

Why are you selling it?
 
Juggy, why are you selling all your stuff (if you don't mind me asking)?
 
Getting money together for PS3.

It was purchased in November last year. I've only ever used 2 of the controllers. The only reason I bought all of them was so when I play golf with my mates we can all use our own controllers.

Mad man, rather wait until after Friday at least and then go test drive one in the shops before putting down that amount of money...

Anyway it's your choice in the end,

For November last year I guess you should be happy with R5000

Bwana I don't think it should be in the classifieds yet since he is asking how much to sell it for and is not yet selling it?
 
I suppose I should wait a year after the PS3 comes out in case they have teething problems first up. It also runs very hot which is not ideal as it stands on top of my DualView decoder which I know have heat issues as well so I'd like to replace with a system that runs cool.
 
Dude, if you didn't have a console yet, and you wanted to buy a PS3, that's one thing. But why spend all this extra cash, when you hace a console that can do pretty much the exact same thing? It's not like the PS3 has that many uber exclusives either.
 
You are planning on putting a PS3 on top of a Dual View :)....

Are you not worried about the weight or spontaneous combustion :D

I think the PS3 will be a solid machine with very few teething problems, but you don't know the BC abilities yet, they are going to put rumble in some time and then you will need to buy another controller. It has no great exclusives out yet and it's R6299.. I would wait until you have tried it at least.

It looks so cool;) Besides that XBox 360 looks like it comes from Fisher Price.
 
Juggy, I'd also suggest you wait to actually see a PS3 in action first.
(And don't get all woozy because they're all demo'd on bravia's - EVERYTHING looks great on a bravia)

And more importantly wait till there's games on it that are worth while - Dude, you don't even have any decent games for your 360! I don't know your taste, but frankly none of the games you have are best in class, try Crackdown, Gears, Viva Pinata, burnout revenge the list is huge. The PS3 has, um, . . ports?

There is a tradestation in Parklands (and Milnerton) - take the games you aren't enjoying to them and go swap them for something interesting.

I also guess taste is subjective, The 360 won "best design" in Japan, I love it. I'm guessing you've just got a case of gear lust ;)
 
Bwahahaha, no. I'm toying with the idea. Not 100% sure yet. I did recently buy Vista Ultimate as well. I hate the fact that there is no decent method of decoding DivX yet.

So I take it then that you hacked the firmware?

That would be something worth mentioning to someone you're trying to sell it too.

I must be one of the few people who don't like the look of the PS3... It's just looks to shiny :)... Like it's fake or something

There are rumours about a Black Xbox 360 which I also don't think looks to cool but if that's your cup of tea then rather wait for that....

I was not sure about the White Xbox when it was first announced but it has grown on me... Anyway I think I am getting side tracked :D

My personal opinion you can get R5000 for your setup but rather wait and test drive the PS3 first.

Ah so it's hacked.....

I change my opinion then, max R4000 as it is no longer has a warranty and will most probably get kicked off Live! at some time....

Of course I would but, as I'm sure you know it's only the DVD drive firmware so that can be replced to get it back to original. Not sure how much a drive costs though.
