XBox gamesharing - what am I doing wrong ?

Hi guys, need help.

Crabby signed into Dizi's xbox and made it his home. Dizi signed into Crabby's xbox and made it his home.

Crabby and Dizi now have access to each others game library. Well, sort of.

Dizi has Ultimate Gold. Crabby has EA Access.

Dizi and Crabby can see each other's games in the library as well as pointers to the amount of Gold / Gamepass / EA Access available titles.

When Dizi goes to EA Access library, tells him he has to pay for it.

When Crabby goes to Gold & Gamepass, tells him he has to pay for it.

Dizi can download a digital tomb Raider Crabby bought 2 years ago, but when he tries to play tells him he needs to renew Gold or Ulitmate.

This is my first switch to a different share, so is there something else I am missing? I deleted my account on the prior share.

wtf am I being stupid about here?
 
I think if I'm reading it your post properly that you both are signed on 2 different consoles at the same time.

you havent set one console as the home.

on crabys xbox sign in as Dizzy and you need to set it as his home.
gamepass and gold should then be accessible to Dizi on his xbox

Microsoft allows and condones this sharing but EA access cant be shared they do not allow it
 
Remove and add the profiles again. This shouldn’t remove game pass but it does sometimes. Then redo the Home Dbox attempt.

Be careful as you can only change Home Xbox’s 5 times

Not possible. If Im logged in and Dizi signs in as me on his xbox, I get booted as per standard.

Oh but we have. If I go to my settings now, it will ask me if I want to set this as my home xbox, indicating that my Home xbox is somewhere else as per standard.

My last gameshare guy had access to my EA games that I had installed from my EA subscription, same should be the case here.

Will have to try this Phoenix. 5 times a year according to microsoft, but not an issue as this is only my 2nd share switch.

We do seem to have access, but not visibly, I mean I can play DayZ for example, which is a gamepass title and I don't have gamepass(Dizi has) but when I want to browse GP games list, tells me I'm not on GP.

To browse that games in gamepass you will have to log in as Dizi, I have the same issue with my sharing, to browse I have to log in using the profile that has gamepass, select any games I want to download. As soon as I have done that I revert back to my profile. Games selected for download will be visible.

It's only for browsing gamepass that you have to log in with the profile that owns it.

Well that's my experience currently maybe there's another way.
