Im into market of purchasing the following LCD: Samsung SyncMaster P2370, to use as a pc monitor and a portable xbox 360 monitor.

Question is since the LCD does not have the HD (HDMi) component at the back(I think still trying to find full specs) just a Dvi port. What would i need to play my xbox with the full 1080p benefits, i think my box did come with a dvi converter component but im not sure if id lose quality playing through that.

DVI and HDMI are identical quality as far as the video signal is concerned (HD) - HDMI just supports sound on the same cable...

As said above, both DVI and HDMI are digital connections and both are capable of pushing through full HD resolutions, so a HDMI to DVI converter will sort you out nicely.
They're about R90, if memory serves.

Ok got the video sorted now i need to buy me a vga cable so i can the sound connectors as well, problem is how would i connect my sound blasters (creative 2.1) to it?as on the vga cable it has both left and right input but i have only one audio jack for the sound, the one that would go into my sound card (green).

You need an RCA to mini jack plug converter.

Whats the price of the P2370?

Any reason you did not consider the 2333SW besides being a 16x10 monitor"
