XBOX Live account

Hi Guys,

I haven't played XBOX360 or logged into the Microsoft account used to create my profile for years. Today I got a new XBOX360 (previous one burned out) and wanted to sign in with my account but it appears that the entire account doesn't exist anymore. I tried password resets but the Microsoft account page says "the microsoft account is incorrect". I signed into all the other Microsoft accounts I ever had and none of them are the ones that that specific XBOX live account lives on.

I really don't want to lose that account because I have a huge gamerscore on it and I feel emotionally attached to it.

Is there anything I can do here?

Xbox Live accounts don't dissappear. Ever. There are only three possible reasons for your problem:

1 - You got the email adress wrong.

2 - You haven't signed in connected to the internet since you started racking up your achievements and and score.

3 - You never assigned a microsoft account to your xbox profile.
