Xbox Live cable

Hi all

I want to know what cable I need to connect to Xbox Live through a port in my apartment wall? The MTU test fails everytime and I phoned the ISP and they said it is well over 1500!!! Please help with any ideas.

Well, I'd say run a network cable thru that port in your apartment wall to your neighbour's router and you should be ok.

Not really sure, try diabling the firewall on the router to see if it's that.

You may need to open the ports on the router itself.

Have you setup the router according to www.portforward.com ?

What has your apartment wall got anything to do with your Xbox?

Do you have an building wide Network?

There are articles on MSDN on setting up your MTU, but if your not the admin on your network you may have issues.
