You need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you're on live but not paying per month then you're on silver and cannot play online in groups. Check out www.mspoints.co.za for gold subby prices.

Alternatively, if you're not worried aboug gamescore, you can always just create a new account and get 1 month's gold free.
