Xbox live (dns fails)

HI every one. ok so im tryin to setup my xbox live. My ip address is confirmed. but when it comes to the dns it fails. so i put the dns number in manualy and it still fails.help plzz!!!

As he said and you should really be posting this in the console section.

This normally happens if your using Internet connection sharing or haven't enabled port forwarding (www.portforward.com)
