How the hell do you get exbox live to work ???

I have a 384adsl line I can get updates but cannot create an account or sign in

? Why can't you create an account?

Any errors? You just need to go to sign in, then setup an account? Make sure you use a UK postcode (E16 2SP).... and say you are in the UK when signing up

Edit: Dude maybe you should change your sig after that posting?

Go to www.xboxlive.com and setup your account from there first. Once you are done simply use those details on your Xbox 360.

You can also use the website to control aspects of your profile by adding friends, sending messages, etc.

Your xbox can be set as South African though, just make sure your online profile is UK or US. I prefer UK as we get better speeds to the UK than the US

Yup most guys create their accounts as UK accounts, just in case it matters I guess.
