Get rechargeable AA's.
Get the XBox One S controller as it uses BT instead, making it more compatible with other devices.

I bought this specific one when it was the same price as the one in your link.

Get rechargeable AA batteries. I use my xbox one controller hooked up to this http://takealot.com/og/v1/PLID43669295 on my pc.

That receiver is both unnecessary and intended for Xbox 360.

I have used this exact Bluetooth adapter for possibly over 2 years now:

It works perfectly. Granted, there might be range issues that escape me due to being next to my PC when I use it (and plugged in at the top of the tower), but it has been rock solid. I don't have any drivers installed for it. Win 10 Pro functions like it has integrated Bluetooth with that thing connected. I use it with the white Xbox One S controller and Bluetooth voice calling earpiece without any issues.

And I don't even bother with rechargeable batteries for the controller. Regular AA Duracells last an eternity. I just throw them away when they finally die and grab another two from my general supplies drawer. Takes 2 min and I never have to think about it beyond that.
 
Though if you've got a few 360 controllers lying around that works a treat. Still have mine as I've still got some 360 controllers.

I use Energizer 2000mah AA batteries. Last forever. I normally can't remember when the last time I recharged is.

OP don't waste money, get a bluetooth 4 or higher adapter, weigh the cost of regular AA rechargables against the cost of normal AA batteries vs how much you be using the controller and pull the trigger.

Personally I already had a charger so rechargables made sense for me.
