Hi Guys,

We have an old xbox one.
When we connect to Wifi(fiber line) the xbox receives all the correct ip address ut when you test internet connection there is no internet. our old house was working perfect. This new house is a new fiber line and new router. Every other device works fine on the wifi.
NOW
when i create a hotspot with my phone and connect the xbox to the hot spot, it works perfect.
I have defaulted the router and no luck

Set a manual IP and DNS settings. What IP range are you on? Let me know if you need help figuring it out.
Hi Man. I have set it manual. I have also tried connecting a network cable and still the same fault. I have also set the dns as the routers ip and also tried googles dns servers. Still the same thing.

Hmm... that sounds like an issue with the ISP or router.
I've sorted a similar issue with my nephew's PS4. In his case we had to disable uPnP on the router as well as enable IPv6.
Of if they are set that way, try the reverse... but leave DHCP enabled on the router and let DNS be automatic.
I have done a nat test which came back as strict on the xbox. I enable upnp on the router which then came back as open on the xbox. We have contacted our isp and they say they not blocking any thing. This is really confusing.

Who is the ISP?
If you're able to access it tethered to the phone then it has to be the router or ISP (if your phone goes via another ISP). Does your ISP support IPv6 and does your router support it?
The ISP is tt-connect and Vodacom. I will have a look tomorrow. Might just go purchase another router and test that.

I bought a new router and it works. I think that vodacom router has a custom firmware on it as there are alot of settings that dont show up. anyways it works perfect now. thanks
