Not the same 'which is better' thread - but if you have both consoles and the games are available on both platforms - which do you prefer?

Does it comes to price?
Do you have a gaming console preference because of, as an example, the controllers?
Is it on a game per game basis where some are said to better on one platform?

I have both. Cross-plat games I get on the PS4. But if I know that I'm going to spend a large amount of time on a game then I'll get the X1 version just because the battery in the controller lasts forever before you have to recharge, whereas the PS4 controller lasts about 6 hours.

Multiplats PS4 everyday all day.... if I owned consoles that is

In general I get cross-plat games for PS4. But if it's something that I'm going to be having a marathon session on, I'll get it on X1. I'm a lazy bastard and hate having to get off the couch in the middle of a session to charge a controller :p The USB cable for the PS controller is so short that I can't even play while it charges because my couch is too far away. You either have to wait an hour while it charges, or sit on the floor and play - neither of which I find very interesting...

Just get a USB extension cable, they're about R120 for 3m at Makro.

While I haven't had the chance to use a XB1 controller, I completely agree

Binged on Destiny yesterday, both controllers fully charged at 10am... by 6 or 7ish yesterday evening I had swapped controllers at least 3 times each (leaving one of charge while I used the other)

@Tw171 thanks I should also look into getting an extension cable!
