Morning All

Im not sure if this is the cause of my problem but ill see tonight when I get home but anyway.

Ive been using double the amount of electricity at home in the past month or so and the only addition to my flat is the XBox.
The flat is empty the whole day and the console has been on Instant-On as I play for about an hour or two each night.

My question is would this spike in electricity usage be cause by having the console on Instant On versus Energy Saving option? Im talking 20 units of power used between going to work and coming home (again its empty during this time).

Any one else experienced the same thing?

Cheers

The Xbox uses little, there's something else that's chewing you're electricity.

Yeah it's definitely not the Xbox.

Difference between Instant On and full off (energy saving) if very very marginal.

In summer I don't even use 20 units of power a day overall, that's with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X in Instant On/Rest Modes in my house amongst a LOT of other electronics.

Start by turning your geyser off at the DB board, it's the most likely thing to be faulty and use that much power.

Thanks a mil, I figured it couldnt be that high but just wanted to eliminate it as a culprit

The joys of staying an a complex with prepaid meters.
