Am I imagining things or is this console a myth in SA? it is available nowhere, and I still don't know of anyone that has one, or that knows anyone who has one. If you know of availability, please point me in that direction. Also, did anyone realise that the PS4 PRO had a price increase, it's now routinely 7999, also, if you can find it.

I've had one since the launch date on the 22nd December and love it!

Since then, I know a few people who has bought one.
They come in batches every now and then and then sell out fairly quickly so just keep checking and you'll find some in stock soon enough.

Some dion wired, incredible connection, makro etc stores have stock.

Pretoria, The Pro might be in stock at makro, for R7999, no way I'm paying that for a 'Superman' version or whatever. The X is never in stock, maybe I should wait until South Africa's version of Black Friday in any case.

I'm talking about the X, and there is stock in certain branches.
 
If you have to choose between the two, get the X. I have a Pro and X, and the Pro has been relegated to use for exclusives only.

The reason why they seem scarce is they're brought into SA in batches. The last one was around April/May, and I immediately got mine then because I missed out on the Decemeber shipment.

Looks like you can get one through Makro though, but you'll have to wait 3 weeks.
