Has anybody noticed the price of the Xbox Series X on Takealot. When stock is available, the price varies upto R21 999. When there is no stock available, the listed price drops to R11 999. I do understand that it's not Takealot that is actually selling it but this is their platform and they should not allow this.

All those higher prices aren't from Takealot, they're from third parties.

It's always that same third party scalper. I am sure I bought from the same people in Dec, but back then they had it at RRP. It's probably best to look elsewhere for stock. That seller has rocks in his head.

I wonder if em SA scalpers or the people that buy from them realize that SA RR Price + US scalper price?

Literally cheaper to buy from a US scalper and ship it to SA

importing has often been cheaper, for years actually

people don't go that route because of customs duties and warranty

Not sure, I've only seen that "Tech Direct" store selling them. But I haven't really been paying attention.
