Xbox shutting down studios

The sudden closure of several video-game studios at Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox division was the result of a widespread cost-cutting initiative that still isn’t finished.

This week, Xbox began offering voluntary severance agreements to producers, quality assurance testers and other staff at ZeniMax, which it purchased in 2020 for $7.5 billion, according to people familiar with the company’s plans.

But its MS, last year they said how this is great for the industry, how devs can work free from stress.

But its MS. They are just like EA.

Imo, gamepass is a terrible idea.

Anyway, no point in complaining. Xbots will be shown the next gears of war and then start proclaiming MS as the greatest evr.

I don't agree. without gamepass, many games would be out of my reach as they are just too expensive.

Sorry, I meant in terms of a company. Consumers definitely get the benifit. Game pass numbers have not been increasing. In their last financial report they reported an "increase" but it was a decrease once you account for them converting some numbers.
