WTF?
Actually the nice thing about the xbox is, most people who bought the console could have saved that 4k for an extra few months and also bought a PS3.
But most people did their research about the xbox and saw theres not really that big difference between the consoles to justify the price. Doing that little bit of research on the console says a lot about the mentallity of a lot of xbox users
So tell me did your PC with XP crash or your Xbox while you were doing your little bit of research , cause it seems that you missed the part where they said PS3 is far more superior than the Xbox360.
But anyway tell me How much you paid for your x box?
How mush is ur live subscription?
an all extra's you needed for it.
Honesty would be nice.

Yip I have missed that part. But if you will be so kind please give me a non biased link from a decent review site clearly stating the PS3 is "far more superior"
Xbox Live subscription is FREE if I want to use almost 90% of xbox live and then only pay for gold membership if I want to play vs other users, and that ranges from R400 - R600 for a year and again you only need it if you want to play versus other people.
Could you please explain all the other extras needed ?

I remember when the debates were about PS1/PS2 vs PC, seems to me all the PC fanboys went to XBox
anyway the sony machine will win the console war eventually only a matter of time
Sony will win out here in SA methinks, due to the massive ignorance of the buying public. Overall though, I don't see Sony winning this one, they're too far behind, and have lost pretty much all their exclusive titles.

i'm willing to bet you 50 bucks that if you had a PS3 in a similar situation (poor ventilation) it would eventually crash due to over heating.

Well sorry to pi$$ on your parade (actually, whom I kidding . . . .
) The PS3 won't get a price cut till, the very earliest, Xmas 2008, and that's official from Phil Harrison.And as far as getting more, you want to clarify? You get, uh, sub par graphics, half the memory, two titles barely worth half a mention, and oh, how can I forget, A blu-ray player that's useless to 95% of the world, has little or no decent content and cripples game load times. Besides the fact that by time anyone can afford HD TV's standalone players will probably be in the region of R1500 anyway.
In the mean time I've got more AAA games on my 360 then I have a clue what to do with ,and not enough hours in a day to play them all.

The saddest part is that the PS3 only got released recently an the graphics are starting to look better than the Xbox.
An xbox is out now almost a year an a half.

Instead of sprouting garbage why don't you go read, well lets see, EVERY independent article printed anywhere that catagorical puts the 360 ahead of the PS3 by a country mile, now and for always.
Oh wait, that'd involve reading, sorry my bad, I'll go find you something done with pictures for you . . .

you're going on about how the PS3 never crashes but the XBox360 does. Well in case you never read the first post, the reason halicon's 360 crashed was due to poor ventilation, not because of the console.

By all means.
It's a country mile when "a couple" is:
- a 10 million units (and outselling PS3 every month),
-160 games versus 30 (with a higher future release rate),
- 6 million paying online users,
- the 360 consoles are now sold at a profit opposed to a $250 loss per PS3
- and the 360 continues to deflower all the PS3's exclusives.
- Per every "wait till next gen" PS3 excuse, the 360 will always be a gen ahead.
The war isn't over by a long shot for sure, MS needs to answer the likes of Singstar and Buzz in a big way, but with next gen exclusives like Guitar Hero II (PS2 version won't run on PAL PS3) They're on their way.
