Xbox360 vs PS3

I traded Forza....it was like so booooooooooooring.

why do ppl care so much about xbox360 vs ps3?

all they do is just play games and they are basically the same, so who gives a finger any way?

I have an xbox but would have got the ps3 if it wasn't so expensive and have a useless bluray player, but either way, they do the same thing

you take de game put it in and play, so why so much noise, just daft.
 
yeh....i suppose if you enjoy no challenge and driving around slowly and taking the corners carefully and you win every single race with one eye closed and the other one watching the paint dry...there is just no challenge, it is just tooo easy to win, as long as you don't drive like a twit, all you have to do is corner nicely and you win every time and I mean every time...itwas just ***yawn ***
 
well the first part is bull and 2nd part is bull's milk...ive learnt that sum people only read the 1st part of a thread

What difficulty were you playing on? In career mode, when you do races with all cars in the same class, you definitely DON'T win easily. Oh, and the whole point of it being a sim is that it's as realistic as possible, if you wanted a game where you scream around corners and go full throttle for the whole race, you should've gone for something like NFS.
 
@lived, exactly.

On Forza - strokes and folks, I'm with feo, I'm a sucker for realism, I love Forza 2. Just from a driving feel and physics perspective, there is nothing that touches it.

My only criticism of it is in the damage modelling, there should be higher difficulty levels that are more realistic. You really have to try hard to total a car. DiRT get's that right, almost too much.

@ doobiwan exactly back to you, exactly like you agree then, it is boring to play? so yip, it is sort of realistic, but there is no challenge because of that, in any mode, the races are just tooooo easy. All you have to do is keep up with the cars, corner nicely, push them off when it counts and you win, every single time...anyhow you enjoy the game, that all that really counts!!
Go Forza Go! mine went to de exchange shop.

I am waiting for Ace combat 6, that looks like it will be a blast and then getting today Cod4 and Assassins Creed which I am a bit worried about as no-one appears to be raving about it.

by the way back to the non topic of xbox vs playstation I actually enjoyed reading what the guy wrote, even if its not the topic, I just don't see why ppl care so much, all they do is just play games...

@lived - no we missed a post, I was agreeing about not being bothered with arguing any more and disagreeing on Forza.

Forza - exactly what feo said. Either you're a super ace driver or had all your difficulties set low, and had all your assists on, in which case you're better off with PGR, NFS or GT. If cornering was just "slowing down" for you then I'll definitely guess the later. I did that with the demo and came away with the same impressions. Once I took the time to get technical and turn everything off, it became a whole different game.

As for the arguing -simply because it's trite ill informed garbage. (There plenty from all sides) We're beyond that, there are plenty of well thought out proper comparisons on the net, and more importantly the proof is in the pudding. By this stage it doesn't matter a Rats A$$ what the spec says, it's what the developers are doing with it.
