Hi there
I am going to purchase a Xiaomi Mi Box to attach to my 2015 Samsung Smart TV. Currently I only have the Showmax and Netflix apps on the Samsung TV and I cant load any new apps like Brit Box etc. I also cant cast onto the TV from my iphone so thats why I need the box.
2 questions:
1) I want to just understand from anyone that might know if I can stream directly from the Xiaomi box (ie is there an internet browser on it?) or if I need to stream on my I-phone and cast onto the TV? Also what streaming sites/apps can I download onto it to do so? Or any other advice on how to do it?
2) There seem to be 2 options of the Xiaomi Box on Takealot. I know the HD version is apparently old now. any ideas on if these 2 have a HUGE difference?
a. Xiaomi Mi TV Box S Media Player (Google Certified | DSTV Now & Netflix) Price:R999
b. Xiaomi Mi TV Box S Media Player Price: R1483
The only difference I see between the two is the warranty period and the cheaper one doesnt have an audio jack? (I dont have external speakers so have no use for this?)

, no I cant get the stick because my TV is mounted on the wall so I need to get the box.
