Double the Chinese cost if buying from a SP otherwise add about R800 if buying from China and importing (more or less and at a guess).

Is it just me that got reminded of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Specs are actually very good for the price.
I'd much rather buy that than an over priced Samsung J1/J5/S4 Mini which are still dual/quad core and have quarter/half the amount of RAM and internal storage.

According to their SA facebook fans page this device was supposed to have arrived in April already.

There is also a Redmi 3 that hasn't arrived in SA yet. That being said, I'm not sure if it is available internationally yet either.

In India you still need registration and they have open sales in-between so don't see it coming here very soon. Best to ask http://mia.africa.com/global/ though they're the only ones who will know.
