hi

is it possible to download XP's most recent updates not through the automatic update of windows
but separately?

so when i do a fresh install of xp i don't need to run an update every time, its really time consuming.

Maybe an ISO imgae of the latest updates or something.

thanx

they are available on the ms website, but why not just let automatic updates do it? its a much of a muchness....

I got a solution @ www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com does precisely what i want.

Now I can integrate the latest updates into my xp installation cd using nlite.no need to download alot of updates anymore.

dont you think its much better this way DUDE?

I'm sure this is what you looking for .... http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=5
Integrate latest updates + whole span of extras ..... been using it for years before i upgraded to Win7.
If its your first time doing something like this, there is a lot to read through ;)
Your CD will be fully "up to date" with NO updates found by "MS-update" :)

this update pack you can use on a pre-installed Windows XP SP3 - http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8482

I've tried these things before, do they also not download alot of unneccessary stuff into the auto patchers? I am fully up to date with patches etc and there's not nearly as many as in the auto patchers?
