Anyone using the Xperia M2 and how are they. Also might look at the LG3 Beat but not really a LG Phone fan

Have been deciding between these two devices myself but went for the G3 Beat because of the M2's poor display (229 ppi) and aesthetic appeal. S4 mini and Ascend G6 are also decent devices in the same price range.

As far as I recall, on Vodscom, the G3 Beat (the one I'd take between these two) costs the same as a Huawei P7... Have a look at that too if it's within budget

So far from what i have seen the only thing with the M2 is it has a lower PPI screen even though .2" smaller.

The LG notification LED is only red - fail. Also the LG 3 beat is a little more on contract and has loads more bloatware. Both phones seem nice. Still checking all the reviews.

I know 2 people who recently purchased the M2. It's a good mid-range android phone, good camera, battery life and the overall built quality. From personal experience with android especially if you are gonna be taking a phone on a 2 year contract, it's better to get a high end phone. I did consider the M2 as well but ended up getting a Z1 compact the only con is the smaller screen, but spec wise it would be hard to find anything better on a R299 contract.

Huawei Ascend P7 would be the best at R279pm. The P range of HUAWEI devices are all aluminum and use Sony optics

On what contract is that? So far leaning more towards tge G3 Beat over the M2.
M2 R249 - G3 Beat R 299 @ Mtn on the contract I am on.

I have been using the M2 (non aqua) for the past 3 months. Its a really decent phone. The biggest problem for me is the crappy camera. Iv upgraded from an htc desire so im a happy chappy.
