Xperia X10i 2.1 bug?

For those of you who are already running 2.1, I had this issue where each time I dialed *141# my screen would switch off. It's rather annoying and I thought it was related to flashing the wrong firmware. However, I found out whats causing it. It only happens when I have my headset connected.

Can anyone confirm that it is in fact a bug and not just my phone? :confused:
 
Pretty sure it's a bug, my phone did it too. Something is causing it though. I turned my airplane mode on and then off again (i.e reset all wireless comms) and then the USSD code worked fine.... Full size X10, Global 2.0.A.504 FW, rooted.
 
Anyway we can figure out what it is thats causing it? Or do we complain to SE?

Well remember we are some VERY early adopters, there's bound to be a few bugs, maybe they will fix it. (except Mediascape. At least with 2.1 I can have Winamp for Android :-D. ) After all we are doing our own thing and overriding SE/Vodacom's judgement by flashing an "unofficial" ROM for "our territory" before it's officialy ready..
 
This is true. It seems like almost every 2.1 user I've asked (with an x10 ofc, some flashed, others updated officially) is having the same problem. As well, just have to sit tight and wait, unless the guys at xda come through with a fix.
 
Well if you know which app/function is causing it you could just ask one of the xda devs directly in their PM. Personally I've been waiting for Bin4ry and the gang to crack SE's bootloader so we can install whatever ROM we want. If I wanted to be told what I can and cant do with my device (and pay a premium for it) I would have bought some sort of iCrap
 
Yep, it happens to me, it locks the screen,if you tap the menu button you find yourself at the lock screen, it displays what i want though e.g. airtime before going blank.

I can confirm I DONT have this problem with 2.1...what firmware are you guys running?

Edit: I am running UK generic.
