Hi all

I dont know if anyone can help me here.

I am trying to get my Xtra view to work on an IF conversion system.

The HD PVR decoder is setup with all added networks and works perfectly.
I have now added a SD decoder and activated Xtra view, the heartbeat works and the HD PVR works, but with the SD decoder I can view all vertically polarised channels but not any horizontally polarised channels.

The problem I think lies with my setup. I tried 2 use what I had available hence 2 x 2 way splitters. ie IF splitter 1 splits IF converted LNB signal ->1 signal goes straight to HD PVR 2nd signal goes to a second IF splitter and one of those outputs goes to the SD decoder and the other to the HD PVR
My question is
1. Could I apply extra network settings to the SD decoder as I did to the HD PVR decoder to view all channels?

2. Should I use a 4 way IF splitter or just a T-Piece then 1 IF splitter?

You have to enter the settings on the SD... That is the problem. A 3-way IF splitter will definitely help to split the signal more equally, but is not the cause of the problem.

perfect thanks:) you would't happen to have the network settings specifically for the SD decoder? the ones I have seem to be HD PVR specific. but I will give them a try anyway.
