I recently upgraded the firmware on my Novatel XU870 Express to the latest on Vodacom site. Firmware upgrade ran uninterrupted and I got a positive confirmation that the modem had been upgraded.
Since upgrading the VMC software is no longer able to activate the modem. It cycles continuously through this sequence:
Mobile device detected (blinking red)
Enabling Device (light on modem turns white then back to blinking red)
No device (blinking red)
Any suggestions welcome.
