People have been complaining about the ineffectiveness of our criminal justice system, talking about corrupt law and practices, this may be interesting to some of us

Government can not influence the Judiciary, it is a constitutional provision, that seperates the Executive and Judicial arms of Government. And we have seen the Judiciary taking senior Government leaders to task ( too many to mention )

so a dissatisfaction with Govt, does not mean you neccessarily have to be dissatisfied with the Judiciary, yet so many people are

the truth is that the Judiciary has not yet been transformed completely, and many of the judges on the bench, were there before 1994, 55 percent of Judges are white - this makes it interesting when one is thinking about who to blame for what some people call a corrupt and ineffective judiciary

facts gleamed from here

SO?WTFC

gleaned

not gleamed.
we are not flashing lights here, we are collecting info.

anyway to sum up, there are two camps, the post94 people who blame everything on the fact that some of pre94 still exists, and the pre1994 people who blame everything on the fact that after 1994 it has gone (allegedly) downhill.

/werner goes back to waiting in queue to buy arsenal v aston villa tickets...much more interesting

I've said this before: the problem is not the justice system. Its the laws and law enforcement. How many times have criminals gotten of on a technicality because the police did not do their job right? The judge's job is to apply the laws and procedures that goverment creates. Thus the root cause of the problem is still the goverment & law enforcement.

Surely government can provide more money which would enable more courts, more prisons, more prosecutors, more judges, more cops and therefore less criminals roaming the streets.

Criminals are dumb anyway, the other day 2 criminals were caught with a stolen car, they hadn't even been out of prison for 2 weeks...

Anyway, what about this judge that closed the case on that guy that abused the little girls cause their stories didn't all correspond correctly, great work there...
