Hi, I have got a price of a second hand yagi antenna for R150 incl. is that a good price? can I get it cheaper somewhere else? bear in mind that it is second hand! and its a 12dBi!

Thanks! :)

Uniterm Direct sells :p the Yagi for R215 so weight up your odds spend an extra R65 and get a new one.

Ex vat dealer price.

Test it first. Good price.

Me and my budddy made 2 antenna's similar to yagi's but we still need to test them as we don't know where to get the n-connectors. Does anybody have any idea where i could get some?

You can buy an n connector from Miro.co.za or any other number of cablings suppliers such as jasco.co.za.

Buying two Yagi's will prolly work out cheaper than making them tho :) Making an antenna is a learning experience, but other than that, you cannot beat a commercially made item (in general) as far as price, performance, and time spent on the endeveour is concerned.

Karnaugh - you can get a yagi that has a straight edge. but just get a dish or grid for some ambiance. I think Poynting should get a colour range... grey is just plan boring dunno how well grey fit's with your Feug Shui. imagine green with purple stripes... that should fit in just nicely
