Yahoo hooks up with BlackBerry

BlackBerry users will be able to get e-mail and instant messaging services from Yahoo under a deal expected to be announced tomorrow at the CTIA show in Las Vegas.

Another opportunity that we're going to because of Vodacom? Surely this should be included in the blackberry service?

I thought Blackberries were being shutdown in the states? What happened about that, there was a lawsuite wasnt there

They settled it a few weeks ago - much to the relief of a lot of ppl there I'll tell you. I think the amount was $620 million but not 100% sure on that.

Cant wait to get one of the new blackberrys when they come out here but only if vodacom starts adding some value to their blackberry service. Otherwise I'll switch to whoever does first. Makes no difference to me. Might even sign up for an unlimited overseas plan.
