Yay!! Go Sony Ericsson!!!

No offense aimed at you JK, but that's even uglier dude ;)

What a waste - I wish the camera manufacturers (and for the sake of graciousness I'll include cellphones in that description) would stop feeding on the ignorance of the consumer and get over this megapixel race. Cramming 12mp on such a tiny sensor is not a good thing.

Agreed. 12Mp is a bit overboard.

Sorry, I must apologize, seems that actually did it right this time round and went with microSD and not memory stick.

My bad.

M2 Memory stick you mean...

Well since 2007 when the K850 came out they used mSD. The K850 used both M2 and MicroSD in the same slot!
The X1 also uses Micro SD. Sandisk which is Sony preferred partner in alternative memory makes much cheaper cards so thats why they went the MicroSD route.

I have the coolest new USB stick made by Sandisk, it uses M2 and MicroSD cards as memory so I just took the HD 16GB card and now I have a 16GB USB stick thats transfers a 700mb file in 20 seconds!:)

I would rather get a decent camera and a fair phone for probably the same as what this phone will cost.
