Year End Functions

Nope but I'm hoping it's a strip club.
Now that's a year end function I wouldn't mind going to. Imagine if it's at The Grand, with all that delicious food, oh jeez, I can taste it already, the lamb is amazing, the sushi, that selection of deserts, mmmm.

Has anyone other than in a movie been to strip club for a year end function?
Let us know how that goes for you

My previous company almost every event ended at the whiskey bar and then the strip club.

3-4 times a year.

Oddly enough never the year end function from what I can remember, that was the more family friendly affair and also didn’t get sponsored by our upstream providers.

Imma spike the company tub of vodka/gin/cane mixed with Sprite and strawberries thingy with some ground methamphetamine this year. Going to calculate then add...dead folk are a no-no.

Gonna be a good day!

just put LSD in it... the party will open people's mind.. and don't worry no one will die, you're safe!

go forth fellow traveller!

Our end year function is at the office again. During office hours. Don't mind it, really, it's just very loud usually, which I don't like (loud music that I do not like and people yelling over each other to be heard).

Once a year so meh.

quite interesting having a YE function over teams it seems,
I guess its better than a drinking festival and then a hearty brawl in Isando

does give me time to do what I want to do afterwards,
never enjoyed alcohol and shenanigans anyway

Better find yourself a new job, that's just unacceptable.
Non drinker here so I find it amusing rather than deal breaking. I can just imagine the consternation it is causing though. I am also wondering what I could sell my tickets for to some of my colleagues. Good part is its a day time event somewhere in muldersdrift on a Friday. If you are gonna pay me to not work, and provide lunch and snacks. I will come check it out I guess. Just very different to the last department where there was no such thing as a limit to the drinks people could order.
