The ones I've gone too were mostly OK.
Except for one, my wife and I went home after 3 hours and immediately heated up some leftovers cause we were so hungry. Food was much more scarce than alcohol.

Having ours at a wine farm Stellies side during work hours some time in November. Transport provided for as well so will be attending.

If our company did this instead of consuming my Saturday I'd go to them

Heard a story a while back. Guy won a top achiever trip at a big bank. Him and his wife got to fly to a fun international destination. Wife got so hammered she stripped naked and ran around the venue and then tripped and hurt herself. They both got sent home the next day mid way through the trip and he lost his job via an agreed resignation of some kind. Guess he was too embarrassed to even come back to work after that. Lots of careers get destroyed when alcohol and work places mix. So be careful!

It's an entire company thing for us. Culture isn't just departmental.

This will horrify you lot I'm sure...but our team also goes away for an entire off site weekend once a year.
