I bought R50 worth of yeigo credit a month ago. I have tired numerous connections (wifi router, wifi hotspot, EDGE ) but have never been able to get the other party to hear me. I can hear them clearly so it's obviously not the connection but they cannot hear me at all. Skype works fine on the same connection. i have emailed them regarding this but have not received a reply as yet. i guess trying to support a local company is just not worth it!

ditto. i tried with them out with the free R3 they give you when you register. i was terrible, i also mailed them and never got a reply.

goodbye yeigo

you see this is the reason why its so difficult for local companies to make it here... people are to harsh to early on... sure if they were a multinational with a call center in India they would respond within 5min.. but they are not..

i've made some damn good quality calls on yeigo on a number of handsets... sure there are some bummed ones.. but they are growing... and its only with support that they can go the distance.

Well I damn sure have the right to be harsh "early on" cos I paid my money man. If I pay my money I expect a response- QUICK! There is still not even an acknowledgment of my complaint, and no you don't need a call centre in India to do this!
How can anyone expect us to support them if they give crappy service to their PAYING customers??????

Agreed - Yiego Sucks!

I also bought R50 credit and have had nothing but **** service. The latency in bad and when i made an out call to a telkom land line the caller on the land line could not hear me at all. I then had some yiego employee on there forums asking me if my samsung was really connecting with HSDPA, apparently there blackjack only connected with EDGE.

Money well wasted it seems.
