Yesterday's internet problems

I just wanted to find out if it was just me that the Internet hated or if anyone else had major issues yesterday with there interwebs?

Yesterday morning my ADSL was down called Axxess and they said everything was 100% except that there was no data coming through my line. After a lengthy discussion, resets and some troubleshooting. Still nothing and a fault was logged.

The problem though was that even on my phone I was having major issues web pages not loading and my mobile browser saying it was unable to connect to the sever.

I called a friend he was having the same issue with his ADSL but not his mobile data.

I just wanted to find out if you guys had any similar issues yesterday and if you managed to fix them or know what the problem was? Or like I said maybe the Internet just hates me this weekend.

Yep my line was acting up and the pings times were all aover the place seems ok now.

Same problem .. with Axxess been battling for last 3 months now . Had approx 10 Telkom techs and as many helpers over the phone, bottom line is the exchange is badly congested and no one knows what is going on as i get a different story each time . This is through Clearwater/Panorama Exchange Roodepoort
