Alright, finally got my Neotel Neoflex wireless contraption today and here's what I experienced.
Firstly, the delivery time was attrocious. I ordered online Sunday 25 Jan. Agent phoned me Monday 26 and promised delivery within the week. It never happened and another agent phoned me Monday 2nd Feb to confirm whether I had received it. Promised to get back to me but never did. Logged a complaint on HelloPeter yesterday and today I got my stuff. Unfortunately they delivered it to the wrong address, in spite of me telling both agents explicitely that I want it delivered at my work address because I'm not at home during the day. Forced me to drive home to sign because the driver didn't know where my work was.
Setting up the device was easy as pie. I made a typo though and phoned the call centre for help. Though friendly and eager to help I got the impression that they haven't been trained properly as my agent had to leave the phone for 10 minutes at a time to get help.
Finally got that sorted out (stupid me) and was on the net. Only had chance to do a quick speed test via speedtest.net before coming back to work. Had a ping time of 230ms, 800kbps+ download, didn't check upload. Looks promising but I'd have to play around with it a bit more to see if its all that its cracked up to be. Haven't had a chance to fiddle around with optimum placement for reception or anything like that.
