I have a 1 gig 3g data bundle R310 per month. I have now been double billed twice. The first month I had to pay triple the amount and the next double the amount.
I have logged a complaint with MTN. I then called Customer Service to get an update on the complaint that was logged and I was told that no complaints were on record.
I then logged the complaint once again and was assured the the complaint was in the system and I would receive a call from a supervisor.
Nothing happened!
The complaint was not even visible on the website as I was told it would be and updates would be logged there as well.
Each time I call the billing department, the excuse is that the bills are backdated.
Before I use my 3G modem I always phone 16202 to find out how much data I have left. I am fully aware that the information given on this line is updated only every 24 hours, so I take that into account.
I have never been told that I have reached my 1Gig data limit, in fact, most of the time there was data carried over to the next month.
I have no idea what to do!!! MTN does absolutely nothing to remedy the situation and I have to pay up every month.
